School Council Statement:
"We like Pear Tree Infant School because our teachers help us
learn new things in a fun and exciting way."
At Pear Tree we are proud to have pupil representatives that take part in School Council meetings. These councils are in place so that pupils have a voice and are involved in making decisions about the school and how any issues can be resolved.
All pupils have the opportunity to raise issues, share ideas and take part in discussions that involve all their classmates in reaching a democratic solution. Pupils at Pear Tree know that this is their school and their thoughts and ideas matter.
School Council members:
Year 2 Year 1 Foundation (FS2)
School Councils 1st Priority
Members, alongside, Mrs Khan discussed what needed to be a priority;
all members agreed that it should be ‘to put coats on pegs properly
so that it is not difficult or dangerous to get them.’
Senior members independently linked the mission to our school
behaviour rule ‘to look after our school.’
Members also talked about respecting things that belong to us
and others and keeping our school tidy.
